Krautsand Farm is a place where sustainability and the highest quality are paramount. Our cattle graze on vast, natural pastures on the island of Krautsand, just outside Hamburg, surrounded by idyllic nature. We place particular emphasis on animal welfare and the highest standards in meat processing.

Our main product is prime beef, which we offer in our butcher shop and factory in Hittfeld and Eppendorf. In addition, we carry an exclusive selection of meat delicacies, organic products such as cloudy apple juice and colorfully dyed eggs, as well as our own homemade preserves and honey. This carefully curated selection of regional products reflects the Krautsand Farm philosophy and is available in our stores as well as select retail outlets.

We offer our products in our Krautsand Farm butcher shop and factory in Hittfeld (Schulstraße 5, 21218 Seevetal) and in Hamburg Eppendorf (Lehmweg 56, 20251 Hamburg).

We're always open to collaborations with companies that share our values. We currently supply regional catering companies and gourmet shops.

Sustainability is a core value for us. Our animals graze on spacious, natural pastures and we ensure sustainable management. Our modern stable building complies with the latest EU standards and we only offer meat from animals that we keep responsibly and in a species-appropriate manner.

Our team cares for the well-being of our animals every day. We have given some of our animals names and raised them from infancy. They receive particularly loving care from us and our family. Part of our raising concept is that the calves stay with their mothers. We even have our own veterinarian to ensure prompt assistance when needed.

Our mission is to rethink agriculture. We want to make enjoyment an experience while at the same time treating the environment responsibly. We rely on regenerative agriculture and always work with a certain "rock'n'roll" in our veins. Let's tackle things and not lose our joy and passion for what we do.

Yes, most of our products are organic. We have been officially certified organic since 2023 and proudly bear the title of organic farm on Krautsand!
