Kobangus - The special breed at the Krautsandfarm
Finest Wagyu meets robust Angus: Kobangus represent a very special blend. The cross between Asian Wagyu (often known as Kobe beef) and Scottish Angus cattle combines and enhances all the good qualities of the parent breeds, such as vitality, vigorous growth, and meat quality. This special breed is also at home on the Krautsand farm, where it enjoys species-appropriate pasture-based rearing with all its benefits.
Meat quality
By crossing these two premium breeds, we combine the best of both worlds. The result is a unique Angus beef that delivers a Wagyu-like experience. For example, we get steaks that aren't quite as rich as those from a fully marbled Wagyu, but meat that can stand out from the "ordinary" in terms of quality.
